These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website and services of Hich Transport LLC ("Hich Transport," "we," "us," or "our"). By using our website, contacting us, arranging transportation, or opting in to our text messaging program, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services. We may update these Terms as described in Section 10.

2. Our Services

Hich Transport provides non-emergency medical transportation ("NEMT") — ambulatory, door-to-door rides to and from medical appointments — across the Twin Cities metro in Minnesota. Rides may be arranged through your Medicaid health plan or transportation broker, a healthcare facility, or as a private-pay arrangement. Service availability depends on location, scheduling, and capacity.

4. Booking, Eligibility & Cancellations

• Most Medicaid-covered rides are arranged through your transportation broker or care coordinator, subject to your plan's eligibility rules.
• We ask that you provide accurate pickup details and as much advance notice as possible so we can schedule reliably.
• If you need to cancel or change a ride, please notify us or your broker as early as possible. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may affect future scheduling.

5. SMS / Text Messaging Program

By providing your mobile number and opting in, you consent to receive service-related text messages from Hich Transport, including ride confirmations, dispatch and arrival updates, cancellation notices, appointment reminders, and customer-care replies.

• Message frequency varies based on your ride activity.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time; reply HELP for help.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

6. Payment & Billing

Covered rides are billed to your Medicaid health plan or transportation broker. Private-pay rides are billed at agreed rates and are due as arranged. You are responsible for any charges not covered by your plan where you have agreed to private payment.

7. Rider Responsibilities

For everyone's safety, riders agree to be ready at the scheduled pickup time, wear seat belts, follow reasonable driver safety instructions, and treat drivers and staff with respect. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue service in cases of unsafe, threatening, or abusive behavior.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Our services are provided on a reasonable-efforts basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hich Transport disclaims warranties not expressly stated here and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including missed appointments due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (such as weather, traffic, or broker scheduling errors). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Minnesota.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
